Great Wrap is the only Australian made CERTIFIED home compostable cling wrap made entirely from plants, which will break down in less time than an orange peel! No hesitation needed on whether this product is actually biodegradable - this is the real deal! 

Made in a solar powered factory, and using what would have otherwise been food waste, potato starch is fermented down to make cling wrap which is the perfect alternative to typical single use plastic wrap.

As a zero waste item, this plant based cling wrap is arguably a better alternative to  silicone covers, as this guarantees that you can keep your food fresh with nothing left behind.

What is it made from?

Great Wrap is made from potato waste and other organic matter. It is certified Home Compostable AS 5810 and certified Compostable AS 4736. That means Great Wrap has undergone a stringent test regime carried out by recognised independent accredited laboratories to the Australian standard and will break down in less than 180 days.

Is it microwave safe?

Only at a low heat for short periods of time. Great Wrap will melt at medium or high heats.
